Kathrin Knauf

Kathrin Knauf assumed the role of Chief Technical Officer at LenioBio in January 2024, bringing with her over two decades of expertise in the biopharmaceutical industry. 

Before joining LenioBio, Kathrin held various key positions at Moderna, where she most recently served as Vice President overseeing all aspects of CMC Clinical Operations, as well as Site Head for the Norwood Campus. In 2020, she played a crucial role in establishing and managing the global COVID CMC Project Management Office, steering the manufacturing ramp up. 

With a background in molecular biology, Kathrin’s wealth of experience spans multiple technical operations and quality functions, across a broad range of pharmaceutical platforms, including mRNA Technology, personalized Cell & Gene therapy, Vaccines, as well as Solid and Semi-Solid dosage forms.
