Dr. Schofield brings extensive experience across protein production, process development, and commercial leadership within the life sciences sector. Most recently, he served as Chief Business Officer at evitria AG, where he progressed from Director of Business Development and played a key role in expanding the company’s commercial operations and global presence.

Prior to evitria, Dr. Schofield held commercial development roles at Sartorius, following earlier experience as a process development scientist. He has a doctorate in Biochemical Engineering from University College London, providing a strong technical foundation that underpins his commercial expertise.

Throughout his career, Dr. Schofield has worked closely with discovery and preclinical teams and has seen first-hand the growing impact of AI-driven discovery workflows and the increasing demand for non-standard and highly complex biologics. LenioBio’seukaryotic cell-free protein expression platform is wellpositioned to meet these emerging needs by enabling rapid, flexible access to challenging proteins.
