We process your personal data for the purpose of carrying out and documenting the LenioBio Christmas 2021 celebration.

Your personal data includes all data needed for publishing photographs in a retrospective work, and any distribution internally or to external guests.

Your data may also be used in “post-event” communications, such as our internal company newsletter, either in printed form or via an online platform. Select photos of LenioBio employees may be used on social media channels for the purpose of promoting the image of the company.

Data is collected with cloud software, Smartsheet (https://app.smartsheet.com/) and via LenioBio’s server. The photos will be used solely by LenioBio and shared among those attending the event. Any photos passed on to third parties will be done so for editing and processing or sharing them with you.

We pass on your data to a publisher located in Germany for the purpose of photo reproduction and creation of a memoir. Recipient of your data for these purposes include our photographer, Sven Jäger (www.svenjaegerfotografie.de).

Insofar as photos are published on LenioBio’s website and social media channels, these may include the following:

Channel Profile

Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LenioBio
Instagram https://www.instagram.com/leniobio/
Yammer https://www.yammer.com/leniobio.com

The data will be stored as long as they are necessary for the purpose of their collection.
That means that we basically will store all data collected in connection with the LenioBio event until the post-event communications are completed, or the statute of limitations comes into effect.

In addition, we back up the photographs on our internal company server for the purpose of documenting the company’s history.

We will delete your data if you revoke the consent you have given us to process the photos.

If your personal data is processed, you are “the data subject” and you have the following rights against us as the responsible person (please find our contact details above).

Your right of objection in the event of processing due to legitimate interest:

Insofar as we exceptionally process personal data on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sub-paragraph f) GDPR (i.e. due to legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by us at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. If we cannot prove any compelling legitimate reasons for further processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if we process the data in question from you for the purpose of direct marketing, we will no longer process your data (see Article 21 GDPR). You can contact us for this purpose by post or e-mail.

Otherwise:

Right to information;

You have the right to receive a free confirmation from us as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you. If this is the case, then you have the right to be informed about these personal data and to receive further information that you can obtain from Article 15 GDPR. You can contact us by post or e-mail.

Right to correction:

You have the right to request from us without delay the correction of any inaccurate personal data concerning you. You also have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary declaration, taking into account the purposes of the processing mentioned above. To do so, you can contact us by post or e-mail.

Right to erasure:

You have the right to request the immediate deletion of personal data concerning you if one of the conditions of Article 17 GDPR is met. You can contact us for this purpose by post or e-mail.

Right of revocation with given consent:

You have the right to revoke your consent to the collection and use of personal data at any time with effect for the future. To do so, you can contact us by post or e-mail. This does not affect the legality of the processing of the data carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

Right to restrict processing:

You have the right to demand that we restrict processing if one of the conditions of Article 18 GDPR is met. You can contact us for this purpose by post or e-mail.

Obligation to information:

If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing against us, we are obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed of this rectification, deletion of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Right to data portability:

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance by us, provided that the requirements of Article 20 GDPR are met. You can contact us for this purpose by post or e-mail.

Automated decision-making, including profiling:

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that has legal effects in relation to you or significantly affects you in a similar way. Unless the decision is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between you and us, it is permitted by European Union (EU) or Member State legislation to which we are subject, and such legislation contains appropriate measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and your legitimate interests or the decision is made with your express consent. We do not process automated decision-making.

Right to appeal to a supervisory authority:

Without prejudice to any other rights, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, workplace or place of alleged breach, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection law.

Voluntary provision of the data:

If the provision of the personal data is required by law or contract, we generally point this out when collecting the data.

Without prejudice to any other rights, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your place of residence, workplace or place of alleged breach, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection law.

We process your personal data on the legal basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sub-paragraph a) (regarding your consent to be photographed) and Paragraph f) (regarding the processing of your data to let the event take place) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and – concerning the employees of LenioBio – Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

We do not use any automated decision-making processes, such as Profiling.

Photos used for other purposes, such as marketing, PR and advertising may only be done after we have informed you and obtained express permission from you.
